Amanda Rae is a nurse by trade and sports fan by birth. Born and raised in southwest Pennsylvania, she is a lifelong fan of the Pirates, Penguins, Pitt Panthers and, of course, the Steelers. Standing at just 5'1", it is amazing she has not been killed while challenging opposing teams' fans to fights over her beloved football team. Her obsession with the Steelers runs deep, traveling across the country for games and naming her cat after Head Coach Mike Tomlin.

Amanda's favorite football moments are being in Heinz Field for the 2008 AFC Championship Game & the 2010 Divisional Round playoffs when the Steelers beat the Ravens both times en route to a Super Bowl appearance. She would like to thank Joe Flacco for his charity over the years and her dad for being smart enough to get season tickets in 1973.

A lifelong Steelers fan, (well almost...he jumped on the bandwagon at the age of 7 and admits to being a fair weather fan) Jim was introduced to the Steelers by his grandfather in 1970, just about the time that the 39 year cloud of losing seasons began to clear over the Steelers.

Then and now the weather was not just fair but great!

Kurt Backert

View Articles

Kurt's passion for the game began in the 60's watching the Colts on TV and at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore. He began following the statistics of not only his beloved Colts but also those of the Colts opponents, with a keen eye on Vince Lombardi's Packers. His thirst for and attention to statistical detail would eventually lead Kurt on a journey to the world of fantasy football in the late 1980's where he's captured more titles than John Wooden's UCLA Bruins

Kurt carries a distinction that no other fan of the NFL can boast about.  He is the reigning NFL National Trivia Champion and he credits his Dad for passing on such passion for the game, something Kurt also hopes to pass along to his 9-year-old son.

Justin was born in Detroit, Michigan and was raised with a football in his crib. He has also lived in Hartford, Connecticut, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. Justin is an NFL Draft analyst and enthusiast.

Justin first began to love the idea of building a team through the draft from his father, Gary. When Justin was young and would watch football with his father, the announcer would say something like “That was all Thurman Thomas on that play.” His father would show him that it was actually the pulling guard and great down block by the tackle who made that play. Since then, Justin has been evaluating players for the draft, free agents and grading teams’ offseason moves.

Justin has a love and passion for all aspects of the game. From on the field play, to identifying value free agents, navigating the salary cap and mostly the NFL Draft. Justin will take his love for all facets of the game and make well informed opinions about your favorite teams’ future.

Justin currently works for CBS Radio and is a board operator at 106.7 The Fan, DC Sports.

Super Bowl winning teams are built in rounds 3 through 7.
